PSUs for a server

Alrighty, so I'm looking forward to start mining. I'm all up to date with mining and stuff, but I've never seen anyone really talk about this too much, so here goes nothing. What if you GPU mine on a server mobojust because you can get more PCIE slots for less money? So, I've got no real idea of what these parts are, they are just being sold as a "server kit" from a site like craiglist but from europe, so don't ask for exact name of the components as I have no idea myself, I'll just be adding the photos that I've got from the seller (as I haven't bought it yet), all I know is that there is a Intel Pentium E5200-dual core, some HP Work Station mobo, and 4GB RAM(probaly ddr2 since there are 4 sticks of ram as seen in the pictures) , also 5 PCIE slots avalible. And so I'm buying this kit for like 65 bucks.

My idea now was, I've seen these so called server PSUs, they seem to go so much cheaper, with a way better efficiency most of the times, and by the name "server PSU" I assume that they are made to work 24/7. For the initial thing, I'm just getting started with 3x ASUS STRIX GTX 1050Ti 4GB, and by my calculations, a 750W PSU or anything around there would be enough. The risers I'm willing to use are having the 6-pin connection, so taking that into consideration, 3x6-pin for the risers and 6-pin for the GPUs, I'll need at least 6x6-pin connectors, besides that, I'll need the other pins that will power up the CPU, mobo, and anything else that will have to go inside the mobo (maybe a fan, idk).

So, taking everything into consideration, I was wondering, can a single server PSU work for now? Will it be able to power everything up and be as efficient as possible? or should I just go with a normal PC PSU? I'm more into the idea of server PSU because I really am on a budget and trying to spend as less as possible on everything, and as much as possible on the GPUs. I didn't actually see a server PSU with 20+ pins for the mobo and that's also what I'm asking here. I also know some guys that work with these and can mount custom cable sets if I request it, I guess.

P.S. I'm here to take any constructive criticism and all, also let me know your ideas. Including pics of one PSU and the mobo kit that I've been talking about

That psu pictured is for a hotswap cage and won't work with a normal atx board.

Also many server motherboards won't work well with gpus.

I use a normal psu for my motherboards as they will always work better for that the a mod. Then a server psu with an adapter for the risers and gpus only.

THAT is a problem

Because +12V Only and a 3,3V Standby Rail.

You can't just use any PSU with this system, you need an adaptor with voltage regulator!

mind giving a good example of a server psu that can be used for atx mobos?
also server mobos having problems wiith gpus? never heard of that, mind giving some more info about that too?

So a cheap PSU for the mobo, and a good one for the gpus?

let's say, another PSU model would work?

Depending on the server, many don't like gpu's and the slots are made for things like nics are hba's only. They can't work but have issues and the onboard gpu is forced as primary.

The normal atx server psu's are the same as the desktop ones normally, nothing special about them. Normally a bit higherend with no bling.

You have to look at the server manual and look for the pinout of the power connector.

There are some/many Server Motherboards with Proprietary connectors.

If it is Standard ATX however, then every ATX compatible Powersupply should work.

Do you have any size restrictions??
Can't you just use a normal ATX unit?
