I'll concede that they are not "screwing around" but I have seen a few instances of intellectual dishonesty and half truths being used to make their view sound like the better one. 

Yeah I just watched a video and I can agree with you. They do use certain tones, illustrations and phrasing to be on the biased side. Regardless, I still think it was a good video and the overall message was clear and accurate.

tax brackets [for married couples] in 2017 would be:

15% for 25k couple (will be 22% with $24,000 exempt 2018)

15% for 75k couple (will be 22% with $24,000 exempt 2018)

28% for 150k couple (will be 32% with $24,000 exempt 2018)

21% for 75k couple

79% for 150k couple

 

and in 2014, video time they were

25% for 75k with $12,400.00 exempt couple

28% for 150k with $12,400.00 exempt couple

 

But again this doesn't tell the whole story and with all taxes combined the numbers would be closer together. Then again, again generally the top 10% of earners in America end up paying around 75% of all taxes. So, tax bracket arguments are easy to dispute as propaganda, but in reality the overall mentality/message in the video is very accurate.

I keep ublock on for Youtube now,ever since cryptomining malware ads were discovered. Google doesn't really care what the ads to an extent are as long as it's profit,even if they screen ads they can't ensure every single one is free of malicious intent.
