Anyone knows where this graphics card is from?

There are many scams going around because of the mining craze... Watch out. If a price seems to good to be true, it probably is not.

Yes. They usually come in pre-built systems. I bought several 970s of this similar shroud style. They were made by Palit but it could be different with yours.

@HalozyR Look at this:

http://www.galax.com/en/graphics-card/900-series/v.html

And then their actual 1060:

http://www.galax.com/en/graphics-card/10-series/galax-geforce-gtx-1060v-3gb.html

So it's a rip-off, most likely it's a 960 NOT a 1060.

Why would it be a rip-off if it was in a pre-built? Lol

Because people do that.

But now that the OP uploaded screenshot with MPN on it, it is this > https://www.ebay.com/itm/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-1060-3GB-Alienware-Version-Video-Card-/332437982051

Just a question, I saw that the price for that graphics card in the link you posted was like $100+, I see other people selling a 1060 3GB for like $400+ does this mean that my graphics card isn't really that good?

Sort of a "no". That price was from before the "age of mining". Right now most of the GPUs are close to triple the price.

@HalozyR If you really want to know, unscrew the cooler and clean off the thermal compound off the GPU die. If it reads GP106-XXX-X its truly a 1060. If it reads GM 204, or GM 206. Its a 960. Also, only do this if you have new thermal paste to reinstall the cooler.

The pictures looks legit. I'm leaing toward this is a true 1060.

You could also just run benchmarks and compare the results to 1060.

Tun GPUZ and check out its actual specs. If the shader cores or CUDA cores are different from literally any other 1060 specsheet, it's not a genuine 1060.

Also, paste is like $10. See if any local mom-n-pop shops got any to spare. Might be able to just get some for nothing.
