Where is a PSU with an 8-pin & 6-pin connectors?!

Hello, thank you for clicking on my post. I am looking for an 80 Plus Bronze 500 Watt, less than 2 years old Power Supply.  What I am looking for is not hard to find, I have found lots of PSU's that fall into the category of all of the features I mentioned, but I have not found any that have an 8-pin and 6-pin GPU Connectors with them. Could anyone please help me? I need to plug my PSU into my GPU which needs a 6-pin and 8-pin power connectors, its the Sapphire Radeon RX 580 Nitro + 8GB.

Something like a CX450M?

Most decent PSUs have at least a pair of 6+2 pin connectors.

Most have a 6+2 connector which can be used for either. If you are unsure just find a psu you like and post a link here and someone will check it.

Oh okay, how does that work, doesn't my GPU need the full connection of 6-pin + 8-pin?

6+2pin = 8pin. You just plug in both the 6pin and 2 pin that extends out into the header on the graphics card

But listen, it doesn't say 6-pin OR 8-pin, it says 6-pin AND 8-pin, so I need at least a 6+2-pin and another 6-pin. Please look at the link.

That's exactly why 6+2 connectors exist. You plug in the 6-pin part of the 6+2 connector into the 6-pin connector on the GPU, and both the 6-pin and 2-pin part of the other connector to the 8-pin connector on the GPU.

you can leave the extra 2 pin hanging if all you need is a 6pin, if others havent made it clear enough. The 2pin there are both ground wires, the connector will work even if the 2pin is left hanging in the air

Yes, that's the 8-pin side of things done, but now I need to fill up the 6-pin part, so 6-pin + 2-pin = 8-pin, I know but now we need another 6 pin because you need 6+8

Most PSUs have at least two 6+2-pin connectors

OMG, this will never end, I am trying to stay calm here but jeez it's difficult. Now please read my answer really well, I need to plug in a total of 14-pins, one 6-pin, and one 8-pin or 6-pin + 2-pin. 14-pins, not 6 or 8, it's 6 AND 8.

Better check out cables provided on the specs sheet, but practically all reasonably new models of 450w or higher has 2 6+2 pin on their cables.

Oh okay, also my GPU says PCI-Express 3.0, I don't have 3.0 I only 2.0 on an MSI X370 Gaming Plus.

X370 should have PCIe 3.0

 

Not like it matters though, for 99% of cards, PCIe 2.0 x16 or PCIe 3.0 x16 doesnt affect performance.

just a reminder, remember to screw the bracket of the graphics card onto the case's bracket. I've seen people ripping off their PCIe slots off the motherboards because they forgot about it.
