I'll be surprised when they launch a game with a good story that isn't centered around choices that don't matter and microtransactions.

I only bought Sim City back on launch as a huge fan, and yet it was royally screwed since day 1.

 

Also loads of EA games I used to own on Steam now only work through Origin (Sims 3, Dragon Age, Alice etc). I want EA to die.

I only bought one game from Origin, Jade Empire, and it was worth it, but I too want EA/Origin to die off.

Well, time to try and play Sim City again and hope that its somehow a better game now.

I thought about playing the newer Sims game every once in awhile, then I remember that EA owns it, and the thought of playing it instantly vanishes, for a multitude of reasons.

Well I'm not buying anymore of their new games, but I already paid for Sim City so I may as well try to play it again, and in the meantime hurl abuse at them because the installer doesnt even do what I told it to do.

Same here. I'll probably do something along the lines of pirating some of their more recent games I want as a screw you gesture. I mainly hate them bc they release games with 30fps framerate caps built into the render engine, it got patched to 60 but still lagged like all hell and they refused to do anything about it. The micro transactions are really the last straw for me. The sooner EA dies the better.

Is it wrong that I want to buy the Cities of Tomorrow expansion for it after seeing the start up trailer?

 

I'll play the base version of the game I have for now (actually the Collectors Edition with a snazzy hologram covered steel case), and hope that it satisfies my Sim City craving.

 

Oh nvm, it seems I already have the expansion and all other bonus content thanks to having the CE. Yay, fun time.

More reasons to hate Origin -

 

After reinstalling Windows, it doesnt detect / run already installed games like Steam. I have to download the whole game all over again over the same installation / directory to make it run again.
