I have a GTX1080 and I found a Pentium G4560 that I had laying around.. all i need is a motherboard and i have the rest of the parts. Should i make a mining rig?

How do you just have a GTX 1080 "laying around"?? To my knowledge one never has a high end GPU like that just "laying around".

 

I would recommend folding instead of mining personally.

If you are asking then you are not paying the bills then, but your parents are paying the electricity bill.

 

Ask your guardians if you can mine because it uses extra kw's and costs extra money coming out of your parents wallet(s).

No I’m paying about $50 a month right now for me and my friends’ Gaming pc’s. I’m just wondering how much extra roughly it would be compared to how much i can expect to make off of it.

If you dont know how to look at what your electricity rate is then no one here can help you determine how much it will cost you to mine.

Its like the women that are on TV that do not know how to pay a bill, or get a bank account.
