Hi! I'm Kevin with Cooler Master USA  :)

 

The Hyper 212 Plus and Hyper 212 EVO will be able to twist a little bit when it's completely mounted if you are applying the force to twist it. If it's moving at all on its own, though, that's not right. In that case, I'd double check to make sure everything is tightened and the right mounting parts were used.

Ok so I have the evo installed and screwed on but it still likes to move around that cant be right? Can someone tell me if thats normal or not?

How much is it moving, is it only moving when you twist it, or does it move on its own? Regardless it sounds like you probably need to tighten it down or reinstall it.

its tightened all the way only moves when you twist it and when twisting it doesnt move that much

Again, how much/how easily is it moving, on its own or when you twist it. Can you screw it down more?

If the temps are fine than you are probably fine, see if you can tighten the bolts more.

only thing I see was the spring on top of the heatsink block isnt down all the way is that doing something?

I left mines like that it only twists when I do it and gets a little better once the thermal paste sets in.

It's normal to be able to be twisted a tiny bit, but it should not rock back and forth at all.

Check the brackets and tools and redo it as a proper sequence.

It should twist a little when you you twist it. Bit it shouldn't move on its own at all.
