will an i3 8100 bottleneck a gtx 1050 ti 4gb version?

as the title says, more specifically the graphics card would be the "Gigabyte GeForce GTX1050 Ti 4GB Windforce OC". And if so what would be a good budget cpu choice to avoid bottlenecking it?

they will work fine...anything upto 1060 should run pretty fine with that cpu

you can go up to RX 580 / GTX 1060 6gb with this CPU and remain balanced, major issue is finding the cards at acceptable pricing right now.

Really depends on what you're doing with the PC. If it's for gaming, it's really unbalanced, with way too much spent on the CPU Vs the GPU

Depends on the Game.

 

BF1 will RUIN that CPU & therefore, ruin 'some' GPU usage and drop frames.,..., other games will run Flawlessly.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

I think its moreso the gtx 1050 ti that will be the bottleneck lol
