Mobo and GPU compatibility.

I have a Gigabyte H61M-S motherboard containing 1 x PCI Express x16 slot. 

 

Mobo specs

 

I wanted to buy GT 1030 GPU and it has PCIe 3.0 x4 slot.

 

Will the GPU fit in my mobo?

I am confused how a x4 can fit in x16?

 

Please help me

Yes it will fit.
x4 and x16 refers to the bandwidth of the bus. In most cases the physical size of the slot as well.

If the card can fit in an x4 slot, it can fit into the x16 slot which is much longer.
