Sonic CD 1995

i want to play my old sonic cd on my windows 10 computer, but when i try to start it i get an error message saying "this app cannot run on your pc." i know they realeased a digital version of the game, but i have the cd and dont want to pay. i also ran compatibility mode to windows 95 on a couple of executable files in hopes it would work, but no luck. would i need to change all the files to windows 95 compatibility or is there another other way i can get this to work.

Update: changed all executable files to windows 95 compatibility and no luck. I'm hoping someone can help me get this working.

Run a virtual machine with Win 95/98? Or get Dosbox and try to run it that way?

 

Really, the simplest way is to find a download version, and as said even if it is "pirated" you own the legit game.

 

 

OR, Build a Retro Gaming PC! Oh yeah!
