Help with Sony Vegas Pro.

I just got Sony Vegas Pro 12 and am having some major problems with it. I don't know if it's my CPU or GPU or RAM. Or OS but the damn thing wont render. I already edited a video and fixed the render settings to my liking but the program crashes at about 20 percent. Has anybody had any issues with this and can anybody help?

 

Specs:

i7 3770k OC @ 4.5GHZ

GTX 680 4GB

16 GB Kingston DDR3 RAM

Windows 8.1

uh is there more explanation than it crashes 20% and it maybe your cpu,gpu,ram?

 

I'm saying this because I use 3770k, 680 4GB and 16GB of ram as well :P

I mean what else can I explain? I'm new to this program and don't know if Im doing something wrong. But when I check my task manager my CPU is at 100% load. And I don't know I just need help complete nooby to Vegas pro here. But I have checked online and noticed that alot of people are having the same problem and they run the program in compatibility for Vista. I did that but still get crashes

Try different render presets?

Case: Corsair 460X RGB bby, CPU: I5 8600K, Motherboard: MSI B360M PRO-VDH, RAM: 8GB Hyper X 2400MHz , Graphics Card: GTX1060 6GB, PSU: Corsair RM750x,

Cooler: BEQuiet!  Pure Rock Slim SSD: Kingston 240GB, HDD: 2TB Seagate Barracuda

It crashed for me a lot but I made it use more ram by going into Options -> Preferences -> Video. Since I have 8gb's of RAM I used it all up. Stopped the crashing for me.

Thats odd, it works fine with me, considering i used with 4gb ram before as well, it works fine on  both of the pcs in the sig and my odd dell insprion
