folind@home, leave laptop running at night?

SO im planning on folding on my Alienware laptop when I'm not using it(fold at idle).

Will anything happen if I leave it running throughout the night? I'll have it plugged in and I have "Pause when on battery power" enabled. My system when using my graphics card hovers around 80C

I've left a few laptops running BOINC tasks for days at a time, they were fine. The Alienware systems these days have really good cooling generally so I'd say you'll be fine.

Yeah I've heard stories about alienware laptops having really solid cooling. Maybe set the fans to full or something to keep the temps down but other than that, you're pretty safe. I fold on my clevo laptop as well and it has a beast cooling system that can handle the heat very well
