H100 liquid freeze?

I have to pack up to drive back home soon and im trying to find what kind of liquid is in these pre-filled systems, I don't want to leave my rig in the car overnight and have the liquid freeze and break or loosen something. does any one know if its safe to leave outside for a few nights? its gets down to around 20°F most nights, sometimes colder sometimes warmer.

Modded in what way? he must of used liquid nitrogen or put the rad in a freezer or something.

Call Corsair and ask what temperature it's safe down to. It definitely won't freeze at 32f since it's not pure water in there.

The temperature of a water or air system can NEVER, ever, ever drop below the room temperature (See laws of physics), and I can assure you it was not -11c in that room.

Plus you cant ever get negative delta unless you are using Liquid Nitrogen

I'm driving home from college and I'm stopping at my girlfriends for a night, instead of carrying my computer inside to keep it warm and trying to explain that to her father i could just leave the thing in my car.

I called corsair and they told me it would most likely freeze....well they put me on hold to ask someone else and they told me it was water mixed with propylene glycol ( which they horribly mispronounced) which has a melting point of -59°C or -74°F but not knowing how much of each is in there makes me think it will probably be OK if i left it outside for a few hours but overnight might be pushing my luck.

Try to sound "techie" not "nerdy" when explaining. Research some nice physics terms and use them. "By using the [...]theorem it's possible to increase the [...] and speed up the [...]"  

 

Your 2nd option would be to just remove the AiO unit depending on how you mounted it/can reach it.

hahaha na, then id just look like a dick trying to look smart. ill just say it keeps the parts cooler so they run faster and last longer. its simple and everyone gets it.
