Is there a way to get my computer to stop using a monitor when I switch its input?

So I have 3 monitors, I use the middle one as both a main PC monitor and a monitor for my docked Nintendo Switch, however when I dock the Switch and change inputs the PC still recognizes it ass a plugged in monitor. This is annoying because if I try to launch certain programs they'll show up on the middle monitor (which is being used by the switch) so I can't access them. Is there a way I can fix this?

Nope, unless unplugging the display cable is a "fix".
