So, I have recently been looking into building a good multi-purpose rig (mostly for gaming). I have already bought my CPU ,

A 7600k I5 Quad-Core,

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117728&cm_re=i5_7600k-_-19-117-728-_-Product )

A case, DIYPC White RGB

( https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16811353135 ) ,

And a power supply, 750 Watt Corsair ( https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139216&cm_re=CORSAIR_CX750M_V2_(2017_Edition)_CP-9020154-NA_750W_ATX12V_v2.4_%2f_EPS12V_2.92_80_PLUS_BRONZE_Certified_Semi-Modular_Active_PFC_Power_Supply-_-17-139-216-_-Product ) .

And now I'm on my GPU, one of the most essential components of a computer. With this rig, I am looking to play games at a steady 1080p HD and also be able to edit videos, use Photoshop, and twitch stream games. I am looking to spend anywhere in between $200-$300 USD for a video card, 300 being my budget, but if I do have to spend an extra penny for something that will make a tremendous difference I may consider. The games I will be playing will be of all types, PUBG, CSGO, Fallout 4, Assassins Creed, etc. I want at least steady fraps while playing at 1080p.

Alright, please make sure your recommendations fit the parts already bought and, the requirements (1080p gaming and streaming). Feel free to suggest a motherboard that would pair nicely with these parts ($100-$120 USD). Thanks!!!

Why didn't you come ask first? You bought an overpriced CPU that performs so poorly it will not play:

At all because those are all CPU intensive, if you pick any thing above a GTX 1070 or VEGA 56 you will be hitting CPU Bottlenecking and making faster graphics card pointless.

To be fair, the GTX 1070 and Vega 56 are out of his price range anyways. And it will play the games just fine with the right GPU, the 7600K may not be brand new but it's not exactly an Athlon X2 250 either.

To OP, a GTX 1060 6GB would be a fine option in the budget. If you can find a used one for cheap ($200 or under), the GTX 980 is also a good option.

A 7th generation i5 is perfectly fine for your machine.

PUBG scales pretty well with the addition of cores, but it will still run happily on your machine. CS:GO and Fallout 4 will be no problem at all, and Assassin's Creed Origins is extremely intensive period.

You have really limitted options in your price range for new components.  1. GTX 1060 6gb Version (def go for more ram)  2. RX 580

I wouldn't listen to the other poster complaining about the CPU.  It's a current gen quad core, should be just fine for gaming.  It may struggle a bit more if you try to stream on twitch at the same time.  Game Streaming and Video Production will benefit greatly from a CPU with more cores and threads.

I say a 1060 or a 580 are good options to pair with your CPU.  The bottlenecking issue would come into play some with a 1070 or 1080

do you think buying a used is worth it, the potential of breaking down in the first weeks of using it scare me lol, no warranty and its third party

I have had good experiences on craigslist.  I would be hesitant to buy on eBay for something in the $200 + range.  At least on CL you can see the person and test the product.  A part that you buy on CL and you test before purchasing should be safe. It's somewhat of a gamble though.  But I traded by 1060 6gb plus $300 to a guy from craigslist for a water-cooled (hybrid) 1080 and its been working great.

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814126133  $230 plus a $20 MIR, but this is the 3gb version.  you kinda have to weigh the benefits of more VRAM and some extra CUDA core in the 6gb version as that an additional 80 bucks for this specific card and in general the 6GB ones go for 300 or more.  I had this specific card and it handle 1080p great

7th gen had seen better days, until Ryzen and 8th gen came out and smashed it to pieces. It you bought a 7600k brand new, then I'm sad to say that the 6 core Ryzen 5 1600 and i5-8400 cost the same while being much faster. Z370 mobo for 8400 is more expensive than Z170/270 mobo for 7600k, but B350 for Ryzen isnt.

PUBG, CSGO, Fallout 4, Assassins Creed,

PUBG: Quite heavy on the graphics card and poor optimization. Probably medium settings or even low.

CSGO: Toasters will run on the game well

Fallout 4: Not difficult to run for modern hardware

AC Origins: Terrible optimization, heavy on both CPU and GPU
