7th gen had seen better days, until Ryzen and 8th gen came out and smashed it to pieces. It you bought a 7600k brand new, then I'm sad to say that the 6 core Ryzen 5 1600 and i5-8400 cost the same while being much faster. Z370 mobo for 8400 is more expensive than Z170/270 mobo for 7600k, but B350 for Ryzen isnt.

CSGO: Toasters will run on the game well

Fallout 4: Not difficult to run for modern hardware

AC Origins: Terrible optimization, heavy on both CPU and GPU

New cards:

RX580 4/8GB or GTX 1060 3gb. The AMD cards have Freesync support, 1060 3gb has 90% the potential of a 1060 6gb with 70% the price. Some say the 1060 6gb is superior to the 1060 3gb, but with the RX 580 undercutting it in price, I'm still not recommending it.

Used cards: GTX 980 (1060 6gb performance in 1060 3gb price), GTX 1060 6gb (were mining cards), RX 580 (again mining cards), GTX 980ti (will use all the budget, GTX 1070 performance), R9 290/390 X and non X (1060 3gb performance)

would you recommend a new 6gb 1060 and if so, link one. Also, why not a RX 580

oh by not recommending I mean not a 1060 6gb. Either use a 1060 3gb or 580.

can you link some 580's that you think would suite my needs, thx

hmm nope, it seems RX cards are mostly sold out, leaving the overpriced ones behind. Now it's 1060 3gb vs 6gb

Get the 3gb. Streaming is CPU heavy so it's not putting load on the card. Besides, few years later new gen of cards will be out so the 6gb is old by then anyway

see, people are saying the 3 gb is good and others are saying bad, I want to believe that the 3gb is good but I feel like it would just experience to many frantic frame drops (ive seen a lot of clips)

Frame drops occur when it runs out of VRAM, which means no 'ultra textures' or '8x MSAA', that sort of thing, which doesnt hurt at all at 1080p. 1440p will make the reduced settings more visible, but 1060s arent 1440p cards anyway.
