You may be able to contact Protocase, but it'll still be above a "reasonable" cost.

What're you looking for in a SFF Case? I'm currently working on manufacturing one and am curious about what people want in it.

Designing a mITX case. Working on aluminum prototypes.

Open for intern / part-time. Good at maths, CAD and airflow stuff. Dabbled with Python.

No, I'm not willing to spend that much on an SFF case.

Kk, thats the cheapest you will get eith a company like protocase.  If you can do the design work yourself and use a local shop to cut the parts (I believe there is a thing called makerlabs?  Not sure) you can expect the cost to drop down to the mid hundreds.

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious

Well, I recently saw the Phanteks Evolv shift, and I really liked the design, but felt that it's not really the most well designed as it you can't mount a dual 120 rad despite there being room to mount the fans. I feel like expanding the depth of the frame a little bit would've been a better idea than making the absurdly tall Shift X. I've also seen the similarly designed silverstone ft03 and mini and they're both really poorly designed by silverstone I feel.

I'd be willing to spend say around $400, but a few thousand, I wouldn't be willing to spend.

I'm not exactly the most skilled with cad. I used to use autodesk inventor in high school, but I haven't used the software for something that complex in years.

The 4k pricepoint is about as low as it gets for a custom one-off case made by professionals, try going to a local college/tradeschool and ask if a student would like a couple hundred bucks to make something for you.

Yeah, thats the issue with oneoffs, they are super expensive.  Most kickstarter cases will contract a comoany (I believe the Dancase uses lian li, ncase uses inwins production) so the price is lowered.

Well, I can't exactly find enough people who would be willing to pitch in for something like this. I was looking for something similar in looks and size to the phanteks evolv shift but with more water cooling support. Before you ask, I've seen the shift x, it's way too tall.

This is me going out on a whim, but I think you'd enjoy the Nano S by Fractal Design (If you haven't already taken a look at it).

It's between the Evolv Shift and the FT03 in size, has support for a dual rad but isn't quite along the same design/ theme as the Evolv - being more minimalistic.

Yeah, you need a proof of concept and a great deal of advertising.

For that price nobody will build anything for you.

Buy a case and mod it to your liking, or build it from scratch yourself.

If I had the time and was local I might, though it would be made mostly of acrylic.  Not exactly an equivalent material selection to a shift x lol

It's not really the materials that I care the most of so much as it's the form factor. I guess the closest thing to that would probably be buying the case and getting someone to 3D print me a new front panel since the only modification I need involves making room on the front for a dual 120 rad.

At that Price no one will do that, Your not even in Case-Labs range yet. Best your going to get is a 3D printed case.

Current Build: Project Frost
Gaming Rig Build: Project Ice Dragon
