Why not? I got a second PC, but it's all Intel and Nvidia. If I was willing to get a decent AMD card I might just have it running downstairs by an air vent or something. I got a 780 in my main rig, and I heard 780 TI's are also alright for mining.. Don't know which type...

We just got a fresh shipment of R9 270s and R9 270Xs at Micro Center the other day. First thing after opening, a miner came in and bought every one of them.

Yeah that has been true forever, I think 7950s are still the best if you can find them.
