On the FP I usually scroll down and look at the comments at the same time. Same with watching the video while doing other tasks. Maybe it couldn't be done with Invision forums but maybe with the new floatplane site?

It's definitely something that will be considered (=/= definitely added) in the future, though I don't know whether that will happen at or after the launch of the new site.
