give a sata ide error code within seconds of booting up comp first time using mobo install it and it hits a2 unplug sata cabels nothing take out 1080ti nothing take 1 ram stick out nothing switch ram slots nothing tried everything resetting cmos nothing re seated cpu nothing need help, my build is a asrock z270 taichi 2 8gb stick s of corsair dominator platinum gtx 1080ti ftw3 corsair 850w gold white h100v2 corsair aio i7 7700k fractal design arctic white window

so you cant post with:

 

no storage drives

1 stick of ram

no GPU installed, IGPU only.

 

if you cant, i think the board is faulty.

Im at that same conclusion myself but seeing if anyone else has any ideas and i did boot with that exact thing nothing

try the other stick of ram and different ram slots if you havent already.

check the underside of the CPU to see if it has any burn spots, then return the board.

no burn spot already looked and i am in the support chat for that right now
