Is it just me? Or do AIOs always break?

Make sure that the hoses are at the bottom or under the rad. If you put the hoses at the top of a rad, it will suck air causing issues with the pump.

I recently built a new system with an 8700k and an ASUS Maximus hero x motherboard and mounted an NXZT kraken to it. My computer would not boot because CpU temps were through the roof. I got a replacement and that was fine for five days before it broke also. Next I got a Corsair h115i  and that broke too. Should I try again with Corsair or NZXT? Or should I just cut my losses and an air cooler?

Maybe its you, I'm still on my first H90 and H110 and mates still on his first kraken, his sister also got one and thats still going great, and these are all 4th gen systems so a few years old.

Oh. That is my problem. Is that why it makes a weird sucking noise before it breaks every time?

Obviously you did not read my post or fully understand what I was trying to say.  I didn't say anything bad about the AIO and if you have had yours a good while, then good for you.  I would think that after going through four different AIO's on the same system then something must be wrong with understanding the installation process.  The odds of four different AIO's being defective right off the assembly line and the same person receiving those defective AIO's must be astronomical at the least.  So, if the problem is not the AIO's, it must be the installer.  Hence my reference to RTFM.
