Just going by the fact that it's a 1050Ti, I'd expect good results from it unless the cooler is absolute crap, but going by looks alone, I'd say it's not a total crap cooler, so all in all, my opinion is that it's a pretty good card.

From what I know, Inno3D is available for the Eastern market (e.g. EU, Asia, etc) ... and is not found in North America.

I can't find many article reviews on it -- even if they are, they are in Russian/Dutch or something,  but there are a few YouTube video reviews.

As long as you dont pay more then 150 ish it should be a fine card if it 175 or more just save up 30ish  dollar and get a gtx 1060 3gb

Considering how your AUD and my CDN currency is worth more or less the same (vs USD at least), $190 is about about right for a GTX 1050 Ti.

How more much do you have to chip for a GTX 1060 3GB, or GTX 1060 6GB?

What are the prices for the RX-570 and RX-580 (both 4GB and 8GB versions)?

i would look for a used GPU on local market before buying this...you can probably find an older generation GPU that perform better for the same price, like a GTX 970/980 or radeon R9 390/390X

even a GTX 780/780ti or a r9 290 is an upgrate to the 1050ti.

3gb - Around 250-270

6gb around - 330 - 380

 

RX 570 4gb around 300

RX 580 around 350-400

 

However I need 4gb of VRAM so the Gtx 1060 3gb is not a option.

That's pretty much as good as you'll find a 1050ti in Aus, $220 will get you a galax exoc version with a 6pin. But for $220-250 you should be able to find something better used.

 

EDIT: there's an r9 290 4gb on ebay for 220 shipped atm. better than the 1050ti, and will overclock, nice sapphire card too.

Change of plans Think I'll go with a Gtx 1060 3gb. Only need it to play 1080p60 for a few games like Fifa and F1 in my htpc. Should hopefully do the job for 18-24 Months.
