Ryzen 7 stays at 3.7

StabHD

Hello guys, Recently i started using asus dual intelligent over clocking and fan control software and im having a bit of a problem. Everytime i restart my computer. the clock of my cpu ryzen cpu is put to 3.7... is there a way to undo this? Im not a fan of continuously tweaking clock speeds eveytime i restart or shut down my pc.

Umm are you using task manager to view the clock speed? If you are you should use like CPU-z or other software to view the clock speed.

Im not using task manager. om using the asus  dual intelligent . It is suppose to test your system's capabilities and fan control.

The software is most likely not applying the overclock to the BIOS itself, and not applying it at application start-up either. You might be able to change it so it can edit the BIOS settings.

Overclocking software should generally just be used to quickly check stability before applying the values to the BIOS. As @Godlygamer23 said, they also don't re-apply your overclock settings on boot.
