dual storage

TheEvilOne

I'm wondering how I would set up a dual storage solution where I have a 120 gb ssd and a 1tb hdd used together. Would I have part of programs files on one and the other part on another? Or do I have to have the whole program files on the ssd

You want to install your operating system (OS, such as windows) on the SSD as well as installing any programs you use regularly (such as media players, internet browsers, possibly games), you then place files, such as music files (mp3) video files (avi, wmv etc), and such on the storage drive (the HDD). Make sure your download destination is set to the storage drive and then you are all set. Hope this helps.

You don't really need to merge two drives together if thats what you are wondering. They will work just fine as individual drives and it makes it bit easier for you to determine what you want to have on each drive.
