AIO vs Compression Connectors

Are the connectors on AIO solutions like the nzxt kraken any more/less safer compared to compression fittings?

AIO's have less potential for error as they are just plug and go no hooking up tubes and filling of fluid, where regular compression fittings for custom cooling if sealed correctly will not leak but you add in the margin for potential human error. 

 

Between the using barb fittings on AIO or compression fittings they both achieve the same result and both aren't very likely to leak.
