Afternoon gents and gals, quick question.

Looking for feedback from the community, maybe even sparking a LTT showdown if there's enough interest (if they didn't have enough on their plates).

I'm wondering, if there's a clear advantage of one or more of the AM4 socket Mini-ITX boards on the market now (or future, is ASUSs case).

I've recently been infatuated by small form factor computing and gaming so this is of interest to me.

The one I own now is the Gigabyte AB350N-Gaming-WiFi (rev 1.0) and am considering a different board for various reasons.

So what are your thoughts or opinions?

*Glad there's FINALLY a non-FM2+ option for AMD ITX :)

the ASRock boards have the best VRMs AFAIK, they get the win from me

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

It looks like the ASUS board might have the best VRM so it's not really a showdown.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Aren't the ASrock boards using the same "6" + 3 phase VRM as their B350 boards that isn't much better if any than a 3 phase?

Are you telling me to get a decent VRM on AM4 at a decent price you have to buy the ITX board?

I dont how about the pricing, but basically yes.

The VRMs suffer from nano heatsinks though.
