Reactions in PMs

That would be cool if there were reactions in PMs. So if you wanted to say agree, informative, or just a like you don't have to reply to the PM. Maybe even more like "OK" or use emojis like Discord. I find my self using reactions more than replying for shorter messages or posts.

idk, that's just how most of the stuff around here goes, they use forum software that's made by a different company and sometimes features can't really be added.

It would make reaction farming possible since those are private until someone reports something, that means two friends could farm hundreds of reactions daily for funs, all it takes is send 1 letter messages to each other all the time.

you could disable that like for Off Topic post counts unless Invision Forums can't do that.

Because they're inherently private, I guess it's a lower priority since you can just reply with your reaction in text and not worry about cluttering things or disturbing many people.

 

I also suspect there could be some coding challenges with that since reputation is tracked for your profile, and thus to be able to award it, which would be needed for this to be a thing, the system would have to be able to peer into your PMs.  Also PMs can be deleted, which is unlike status updates and threads
