For the same price, Both MSI Gaming X, which one should I get?

RX 570 4GB (4 months old) or RX 480 8GB (13 months old)? And why?

Get the 480, it's faster and it has more VRAM ;)

The 570 is basically 470 performance, and 480 is basically 580 performance (give or take a couple percent because of new driver optimizations), so it's a no brainer in terms of performance: but the question really is more "was it used for mining?". 4 months ago is basically when all the normies started getting into mining, so it might have been a 24/7 card.

I guess that's one problem. There's no way of knowing if one is used for mining right?

As far as I know you can't even see how long the GPU has been on for.

How I wish GPU has like an odometer that will count the hours it has been on more than 90% usage. Rofl.
