SSD Lifespan
Unlike HDDs, there are no mechanical parts to break in an SSD, so it's not really susceptible to wear over time. What kills SSDs over time is using up write cycles. 20GB a day for 10 years is basically saying it's good for 73,000GB of writes, though most SSDs will last longer than that, getting close to or going over a Petabyte. The lifespan of an SSD is better classified in number of writes than time, as you could have an SSD last for decades if you're not writing to it much, but could also kill it within a year if you're writing a huge amount of data to it.
Failure of components can kill SSDs pre-maturely, but it's not just a matter of time like it is with mechanical drives. I have three SSDs in my system all going strong for 3 years.
