PC freezing up and slow after boot

quiffghtyu

Recently my PC has been acting strange and freezing up on me when I tab out of games and multitasking. However when it freezes up the mouse still moves and I am able to move windows around the desktop like normal. The only way to bring the PC back is to turn it off at the switch. I've looked at task manager and noticed there is a program called 'WMI Provider Host' which takes up almost 60% of CPU power at times. Also, Malwarebytes and Bullguard always seem to take up at least 20% each. This is very frustrating and inconvenient especially when playing games like CSGO with friends. I have an overclocked i5 4690k on Windows 10 if that is any help.

Thanks :)
