Best Budget Monitor for Graphic Design

RingMany

Hi everyone,

I'm building a PC for a friend that uses the following software:

  • Maya
  • 3DS Max
  • Zbrush
  • Photoshop
  • 4D
  • MarvelousDesigner

I was originally looking at 2K monitors, but now I believe a 4K monitor would be most beneficial for her work, my max budget is around £350 / $400 Here's the one that I'm leaning towards the most:

BenQ BL2711U 27 inch 4K

I was also recommended this one:

ASUS PB287Q, 28'' 4K

However, it's several years old, doesn't support IPS and the colour isn't the best I could get for the money. There's also another model for the BenQ I linked previously for graphic design which specialises the colours but it's 2K:

BenQ PD2500Q 25 inch 2K Designer Monitor

There's a few other 2K monitors that peaked by interest too:

Dell U2415 24.0-Inch - $280
ASUS VX24AH 23.8" WQHD $244
BenQ GW2765HT £267
BenQ PD2700Q 27 inch 2K - £334

Does anyone have any experience with any 4K monitors that are good for graphic design and the above software they'd recommend?

Thanks.

What about the 43UD?

I have the 27 inch one. It is good, but the max brightness isn't that bright. In very extremely lighted room the display seems a bit dim. Other than that it is a great display.

HE should probaly get a 1440p panel with better color accuracy like the MX27AQ
