Ryzen 3 vs A12-9800

So I have been trying to put together a budget PC and can't decide which CPU to get. Right now I am at $550.00 for the entire build including peripherals, except for the CPU. This PC will be used mainly for streaming and watching movies. So I thought an APU would be fine since I would not have the cost of a GPU. But I have read that the A12 is based on the bulldozer architecture, and was not performing very well. The Ryzen 3 is the same price as the A12 but I would need a GPU also.

So basicly I just want a PC that will be snappy and pull video and web pages up quickly. Would it be worth it to go with Ryzen 3 or can I stick with the  A12?

Current build

Windows 10 home: $99.99

G.Skill Ripjaws V 2x4GB DDR4 2400 $84.99

Logitech MK120 mouse/keyboard $15.99

ASRock AB350M pro4 AM4 $74.99

Corsair CX550 $49.99

Sandisk Ultra II 240GB $88.49

BenQ GW2270 21.5 1080p $79.00

Thermal take core V21 SPCC micro atx 59.93

Total $553.37

A12-9800 $109.99

Ryzen 3 $109.99 plus cost of low end GPU

Get Ryzen 3 with a GPU (I would recommend a used 750Ti or 760). The A12 sucks, because it's based on Bulldozer. ;)
