Best laptop recommendation (no max budget!!)

Ok so here's the deal, My grades have been terrible throughout my high school career. I'm about a quarter of the way through my senior year and I have almost all A's. My dad was so surprised that he said if I got a 4.0 GPA  He would get me ANY laptop I wanted. So now comes the search for the most costly laptop I can get my hands on. It's easy to find the most expensive laptop but I want this to be fairly realistic for college. so things like the Acer preditor 21x are probably not a good option. Any recommendations? (I'm going to be doing some editing and gaming and I don't want it to be huge because of college and such)  Anything helps! Thanks!

Take a look at sager, quite bulky but they are really solid.

The water-cooled laptop that Linus reviewed would be good. It's not insanely thick, and can still achieve decent performance all while also doubling as a desktop.

Depends on how fancy you want it and how much you want your dad to laugh at you when you present it to him.

The Razer Blade is my favourite college-realistic gaming laptop I've ever owned. I wish I still had it.

Thing you should look for in my opinion :

1) Water Proof  ( Beer on laptop, very bad )

2) Drop proof  You drop a Mac Book and by by money and files

3) Security , Make sure to have and app in case it get;s stolen. and Anti Virus

4) Encryption Make all your file are backup and encrypted. Losing a term paper could be very bad. 

 

If price is no object go for a business type.
