Should be fine.

I do not expect you to OC your CPU as high as mine, but i used to own a GTX 480 which is roughly a 660 in benchmarks, here is what it could do in BF4 Beta........

Why SLI to low end cards? Just get 1 highish end one and your game will be more stable since some games have really bad sli optimization

I was thinking about getting a 770 in the summer instead.

660 is an alright card, you can get play BF3 on ultra at decent FPS

I think it will be awesome for me, considering i'm not even 1080p yet. As long as I can play games with good frames and nice graphics I'm happy :)

Yeah i'd suggest a GTX 770 or if you are willing to pay the extra bit of cash go for a R9 290 once the after market coolers come out. That thing is sick for the price : O

Battlefield 4

=

Disable HBAO ( does some realistic effects, but also unrealistic)

takes as much performance as x4 MSAA.

also 4x MSAA + ultra textures passes 2 GB Vram. so drop one of those slightly.

Good luck

BF4 has the best MSAA ever, maybe they wrongly named SSAA, nah im just doing a methaphor of how epic it is. must be the mesh opines

My machine is very similar to what you have ordered.

One thing you might look into is the Gigabyte UD3 board.

The Rev 3 of this board is famous for overheating on the Northbridge and VRM's and starts to throttle quite quickly.

I have the REV 3 and confirm this to be true even though it has not been a big issue for me.

Apart from that the machine should be fine for what you need.

Nothing to see here - move along.

@Recon-UK Badass >_< eat bullets dirtbags xD That map is just in the balance of light and dark contrast.... uhhh

I'd prefer to buy a 680 rather than a dual 660 not worth the money.

1600*900 will be fine. With those games. I'd step up the monitors resolution if you can.

roughly the same rig as mine it do's run very well palys alot almost all games on highest settings aat 60fps and more so you should  be fine if you like i could do some benchmarking on my system and give you the results so you have a rough idea on how yours would perform
