Immense trouble rooting/unlocking bootloader on Nexus 6P

I was pointed towards "NRT", Nexus Root toolkit. This tool worked amazing to easily do it. It had no issues with fastboot or detecting fastboot. Amazing tool. Still confused as to what was wrong, but this app got through it.

Also, the nexus 6p has official Lineage OS downloads: lineageos.org (Lineage OS is the successor to one of the most popular custom roms in android history, Cyangenmod)
