Another great thing I only learned about recently.  When you pre-order media, if the price goes down between when you pre-order and when they ship, they'll give you the lowest tracked price.  And this is great because Amazon has an army of bots crawling over rival websites to match prices automatically.  An anime Blu-Ray set I preordered is already $6.05 cheaper than when I first made the preorder.

Speaking from experience, this doesn't always work.  In fact, you can even tell them of a lower price and they do nothing.

That said, they usually have the best price on things anyway.  Usually...

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

I don't think that Amazon themselves have a price matching policy where you can say 'This is cheaper, match this' but they seem to have bots that crawl some competitor sites and always match.  As an example I noticed the Seagate HDDs I use in my server, if they go on sale on BestBuy,ca, Amazon's price always matches them instantly.  That sure, I'm unsure which sites and products are targeted by their bots.  But there's clearly some kind of effort, just that the parameters are unknown.

Also my BLuray is now another 6 cents cheaper. :o

Yeah, there's no official price matching (sadly) but they do have a link you can click to tell them about a lower price, presumably so they can lower theirs if the bot missed it but I've not seen it work.
