4k 144hz or Ultrawide 200hz for gaming?

Tech22

I would be considering the new Acer x27 (when it comes out) or The acer Z35. Which is better for gaming. My rig would be able to definitely hit 60+ fps at 4k. Thank you.

Go ultrawide based of your sigs pc specs.

1 1080 cant handle 4k 144hz, hell i dont think a single 1080ti could.

Building a new rig soon with 2 1080tis (or volta)

for the same reason people buy new iPhones every year, because they WANT to, regardless of how little financial sense it makes, I mean you've got folks with Ryzen already planning to upgrade to the next ryzen generation when it comes out and you get Intel fanboys who upgrade CPU's every generation, if they have the money to be foolish let them be foolish, atleast the jump between 1080 and even a single 1080ti is high enough to at least on some level justify the upgrade, not like those year to year improvements from Intel chips and iPhones.
