Is a Razer blade 14 worth it?

Headshot_

What's up! I plan on buying a Razer Blade 14, probably from the MS store because of its blend of dimensions, weight and performance. I've heard amazing things about it as well as terrible things about it (specifically in the realm of QC and support).

I wanted to know if anyone here owns an RB14 and could share their experiences with it. How's your battery life? Any major issues picked up along way? I think Linus uses a Blade as his daily too if I'm not mistaken. Shoot your thoughts on your Razer Blade at me!

I'm really leaning towards this computer so yeah, I just need a push or pull off the edge money cliff that is the razer blade 14. Thanks!

Since my laptop can't run modern games too well I use a PS4

I found it very loud even when under a light gaming load and would get very hot to the touch. battery life wasn't great. also my original unit had a faulty keyboard and support wasn't the worst i have ever experienced but was not great. as you can probably tell by the wording of my post i no longer have the unit i ended up selling it and put the money towards a desktop and lower powered laptop.

Jeez that sounds bad. Where does the 2100$ go anyway lol

Well my second choice is an ASUS ZenBook Pro UX550. It ticks all boxes except for the fact it has a 1050Ti, it is 400$ cheaper though.

Do you think a 1050Ti is a good GPU? The Zenbook also has a TB3 port so maybe I can use an eGPU in the future when the GPU starts losing its steam. I would like to use this laptop for around 4-5 years

My review of the latest version of it is coming very soon

I would like to see a major improvement especially the internal build quality and cooling solution. (and let's hope Razer QC will be improved)

You can't have good cooling in a light and thin laptop unless you sacrifice performance for it.  You can't break the laws of physics, Jim, and some of these ODM's seem to think if you try to break the laws of physics and logic, you will get rich.
