It's an internet explorer 11... thing. Please use Edge or a standards compliant browser until it's fixed.

Internet explorer 11 was released 4 years ago. I will add support for it, but old browsers that don't follow the standards are lower on my priorities than a lot of other things. I received no reports of issues with IE during the beta.

It is really common to have websites not behave the same way on all browsers. I deal with it daily at work

No I'm not, I am on normal consumer websites. I deal with dozens of websites a week or sometimes per day

you should complaint to them then,

by choosing to not support a certain browser you don't choose to not support a single user, you choose to not support an entire user group - it is not the users responsibility to choose the right browser

Just deal with it. I have to use different mobile browser just for LTT forums than I use for everything else since it isn't supported with IPS4.

Internet explorer 11 support will resume soon, and was not intentionally stopped. There is nothing more to discuss on the matter.

I have fixed it for IE11 locally, and will be releasing the update once I'm satisfied that it won't break other things (so within the next couple of hours). Fixing it involved making changes so that IE11 doesn't use features that it thinks it has, but that are actually hideously broken (which is why it works fine in standards compliant browsers but not in IE11). IE10 should be similarly fixed, and IE9 worked fine in this respect already.

For context, there has been one minor cosmetic bugs that I can think of that I had to fix to support Chrome after developing against Firefox, but there have been severe bugs in both Edge and Internet Explorer. The reason that I ask you to use an up to date browser is that I have very limited resources, and I would rather spend my time adding new features than working around the various severe bugs in the Trident rendering engine.
