[<$100] [MATX] Is there a better case than the Carbide Air 240

I'm looking at cases.  I'm willing to spend more than $50 on a case because a good aesthetic never goes obsolete.

So far the Carbide Air 240 looks like both the sexiest and the most capable case.  However, are there cases that are better looking and more size efficient?

PC Build: R5-1600.  Scythe Mugen 5.  GTX 1060.  120 GB SSD.  1 TB HDD.  FDD Mini C.  8 GB RAM (3000 MHz).  Be Quiet Pure Wings 2.  Capstone-550.  Deepcool 350 RGB.

Peripherals: Qisan Magicforce (80%) w/ Gateron Blues.  Razer Naga Chroma.  Lenovo 24" 1440p IPS.  PS4 Controller.

Audio: Focusrite (Solo, 2nd), SM57, Triton Fethead, AKG c214, Sennheiser HD598's, ATH-M50x, AKG K240, Novation Launchkey

Wishlist: MP S-87, iPad, Yamaha HS5's, more storage

That's a rather special case to begin with so yeah you most likely won't find a better one for your money if these features are what you want. :)

(It's a nice case, I like it as well ;) )

Air 240 is wide AF and has the nerve to only offer 80mm exhaust and tiny tower coolers. For an air centric case, the 240 is disappointing.

For that price point, I'd either go Thermaletake V1 or Fractal Core 500. Both can at least house a Cryorig H7. I've built in both chassis and V1 wins ease of use while Core 500 wins on most efficient use of space + plus it can take a giant Noctua tower or 240mm AIO.

I wanted to like the 240 when it first launched, but the fact the 500 itx case can fit larger hardware makes the design of the 240 less appealing.

Wait what. I'm pretty sure OP is looking for a mATX case, and you list two mITX cases. You make good points on the Air 240 though, so I would be interested in your thoughts on a mATX case.

The Fractal Design Define Mini C TG is about the same price point as the Air 240, but it has a MUCH narrower profile, and well, tempered glass, if that's your thing. A little bit of a plane jane aesthetic, but, well, you're the judge...

I would agree that the Define Mini C TG:
