I have corsair RAM as well, this issue seems weird.

Tonight, I was actually packing the motherboard for return, then I re-seated my processor, and re-installed my memory sticks. Suddenly, POOF and the BIOS showed 16384MB installed. I think that it was because of one pin or more pins actually not seated well. This is AMD boyzzz....:D:D

Can you decrease the hardware reserved memory?

Yeah, but first you need to find out what it is reserved for.

it scares me to think what the computer is doing with 8gb of ram that it thinks doesn't involve the user. lol

also on your motherboards ram support page i noticed it doesn't specifically mention 3000mhz ram. just 3200/2933mhz provided it's overclocked

OK, did some googling. What GPU are you using? Try rolling back drivers, DDU & reinstall them, and worst case reinstall Windows 10

I opened my BIOS menu and saw that PC recognizes just 8GB of RAM but it shows the two eight gigabyte sticks at the memory slots.

i don't think this can be fixed on the OS level

That shouldn't be an issue, it just downclocks in most cases.

Also, i have 1600mhz memory that runs at 1333mhz because that's the maximum supported frequency for my cpu although my mobo does support 1600mhz ram but only for ivy bridge processors, 1333mhz is maximum for sandy bridge.

I updated my BIOS and still the same :(

I tried :( But every time it recognizes the 16GB but says 8GB is available. Now I'm running Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool which I think it still won't be helpful.
