Us this a good deal?

Bamb0ozl3d

I found this local and was wondering if any could give me any model numbers or any information as the seller seems unable to answer any of my questions. The only info his post has is: ultra HD gaming monitor, 550 watt power supply and evga gtx 1050 graphics card.

The monitor is worth about $10, tops. I can find three of those on any given Saturday just by touring yard sales, and I promise you I won't spend more than $5 apiece on them.

The PSU looks like a CX550M. Those typically go for around $40 new when they're on sale. I wouldn't pay more than $25 for it. If it's a CX550 and not a CXM, adjust that price down to about $20. I severely undervalue used PSUs, even newer ones, because you don't know if they sat in a box for three months before being sold or if they were used to mine at 95% of their rated power 24/7 for six months straight.

That's a pretty nice GTX 1050. I'd probably offer $80 for it with a no-more line of $100

If you notice in the pictures, the seller is also in a hotel room. I also notice he isn't showing you the components fully. Just a peek. Why? I would run away from this one.

Best Excuses:

#1(simple) "Well, I never liked that stupid thing anyway!"

#2(complex) "Obviously there was a flaw in the material, probably due to the inadvertent introduction of contaminants during the manufacturing process."
