Blank Drives shown on My Computer?

I tried to retrieve data from a corrupted SD card, this led to me having to eject and insert a few times. Each time it gave the card a new drive path and left the old path "blank". Now it won't remove the blank drives after ejecting the card. 

My steps to resolve this problem:

1. Eject (safely eject, and also tried to eject using Paragon HD Tools) 

2. Format (Tried to format through disk management, Paragon HD Tools, and My Computer)

3. Tried to uninstall driver software through properties of the SD card. 

This is what it looks like to give you an idea...

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

Is this an issue ? Is it just because of the appearance you want to make it clean ?

I think it just "remember" the last K: drive used, something like that... I guess you can just turn it off in the disk options.

So probably if you go there, ( right click my computer, click on manage ) and then maybe hit EJECT on the K: drive or properties, there should be something to do in there

I've tried it all, eject button is grayed out, and in properties i've "disabled" the drives, and uninstalled their drivers. But they still won't go away

Can you delete it in the command prompt that always seems to trump windows

Oh I should try that, do you know the command or should i look it up? 

 

Update: There doesn't seem to be a proper command to force remove a drive. I've tried the "diskpart" method and it doesn't seem to work. Worst case, ill have to re-install windows at this point.
