First PC Build Update

NoLoMo

So I guess I waited too long to buy my parts since the total price has gone up $78 since I first got the parts list approved. The reason this is a problem is that it is eating into my OS budget, any suggestions? For anyone who lives in the states should I wait for Labor Day? Prices seem to be going up on the regular, I'll include the excel sheet in which I have been recording the price trend so far. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/TthNCy

Buy a cheap one activation copy of windows 10 of a site that sells it for cheap unless you want Linux.

Also change your gpu, 1070s are overpriced by 80-100 US dollars. Buy a used 980 ti or a r9 390x. Or vega when that hits the markets at regular price. But by the time that happens just buy Volta because it will be better.

superbiiz has a 1070 windforce at a pretty decent price(at this time, anyways), try that. I've listed another build above with a lower price, take a look.

Whats the difference between the GPUs? Is it just aesthetics? Also I have been told mix reviews regarding SeaSonic PSUs.

different cooler from different brands, so one might cool better than the other, not alot of difference so just go with the cheaper card. the focus plus is great quality, don't worry about it.

Alright I was going to say it's more expensive but I see it's a higher wattage.

asus dual and SC gaming, but they cost more. don't worry about the orange stripes, you won't see them anyways when you install it into your rig.
