Mp-372 Hotspot AP Help!

AeronJoseph

Hello people,

I'm a bit confused about this Hotspot point.

I've found an MP-372 Trapeze Network point. I wanted to add it to my homenetwork to provide stronger wifi connection to all my devices.

I plug it all in and i've got a power over Ethernet controller so it powers on. But all of the 3 lights at the first are amber.

What do I need and what do I need to do to get this working?

Also is it possible if I could run it without switches and stuff like that?

Thanks

I just read he manual and it looks like you have to push instructions to the AP. I wouldn't have the slightest clue on how you do this though.

Thats the installation guide I think. Maybe that will shed some insight. I noticed it say Juniper networks on it, which is enterprise gear if Im not mistaken. Which is beyond my capabilities. But maybe the guide can help shed some light on the setup procedures.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

If it's anything like the other types of access points I've dealt with then you'll most likely need a separate controller for it or figure out how to put it into a standalone AP mode, if it supports that.
