Is this a scam? Or very good luck?

So someone on craigslist is selling an rx 480 powercolor (single fan) for 90 dollars. I know @deXxterlab97 hates his but my friend is building a pc and for him its either this or a 1050ti. So is it a scam do you think? OR is it just a miners? And if it is a miner's would it not be worth it to buy? Cause my friend is new and I dont want it to be a hassle for him. And is there anything to look for if he can show it working?

scam most likely, you can try to meet him in a public place and see if its real, test it out before buying it.

Ask for a picture of it working in a system, and maybe ask for something that would be hard to photoshop or find online in a picture if that makes any sense.

Or could just be a miner trying to get rid of his card that is crap. Honestly I might just skip on it considering its either a scam or if it isnt its still the worst rx 480 card that was probably used for mining

The worst 480 will still be better then a 1050 ti and you can get an accelero VGA cooler for like 30 bucks that will keep that gpu chilly.

Do you think I should still Chase it?

I had also asked if he will show me it working when I get there and he gave me a different number to call for details.

seems a bit cheap, but it could be a miner who's ran the thing into the ground and it doesn't overclock much or runs stock settings stable. Blower style coolers suck for a lot of things, but they do work, just about.

Get the GTX 1050 ti. It's not the best card but it's something new that hasn't been used for god knows what :P
