i have a 1060 6gb and r5 1600x (full specs in my signature below). I think it is going to last me quite a while given that I get like 100 fps in a lot of games at ultra. (overclocked gpu)

my GTX970 build lasts me since 2 years and I feel no need to upgrade so I don't think this will be worse

Buy one of these and ask it.

 

Anyway it highly depends what kind of games you play and which you play in the future, with which "standard" you are OK to play with (if you fine with all on low than you maybe can get away with maybe 2 years longer lifetime) and over all we can't tell you the future. 

A medium speced PC usually is pretty usable for 2-5 years most of the time you don't swap the whole PC if you think it's not usable anymore, the last 7 years you pretty much only had to buy an SSD and upgrade your GPU and whould be fine.

Changed some parts around, $15 more but now you get a R7 1700, will definitely last longer if you want to keep it for a few years without upgrading.
