so a week ago on Friday, I received an RMA GPU with a waterblock. It didn't have a terminal so i ordered this http://www.performance-pcs.com/ek-fc-terminal-plexi.html

I got the terminal today, but it doesn't come with the screws. Here is the thing. Performance Pc sells replacement screws for $0.75 each but shipping is $14 so essentially i would pay around $17 screws. THIS IS SO FUCKING RETARDED HELLO? I'm not paying $17 for 3 screws. :/ anyone have ideas on how i can get these screws? If you're wondering the model of the screws are M4x28 Din7849

You can buy those screws pretty easily I think, they're a standard size I use a lot of, I'm guessing you live in the US and don't use metric bolts much?

edit: Also M4 is the size, 28 is the length (28mm) and DIN 7849 is the standard they meet, note that the DIN 7849 is not usually attached unless you have a really special job for that specific grade of bolt (like aircraft maintenance)

Yours faithfully

Yeah I added that to the reply as well, I'm not sure if that size is that common in America but I have like 1000 M4 bolts, of varying sizes but I easily use over 100 a day if I get a complex commission job, they're simply not that common in the US I think. You however should find them in very large hardware stores that sell parts to professional tradesmen not just normal customers, they tend to stock a lot more parts of odd sizes.

I think we do thread sizes differently. we do it by the inch i believe. I don't know if m4 translates to.

The Metric bolt system is comprised of the DIN and ISO standards as well, but note that M4 is the same is DIN and ISO, we also have to consider coarse or fine thread, I'm assuming fine thread, There is no inch equivalent of the M4 fine thread as far as I know, my only advice is hindsight that you maybe should have considered reading all the text, it might have mentioned, however it wouldn't be difficult to have added them screws to the order, that's a dick move on their behalf.

Yours faithfully

Ugh. I'm in the US, I hate the stupidity of our measurements, but I've used them my whole life, so visualizing and talking about stuff in the metric (As in, the most logical system there is, instead of the dumb 12" to 1", but 3" to 1yd, and then 5280ft to 1mi) system is really tough. :(

You could take the terminal and the top to Home Depot and see if everything fits properly, they really don't care if you open a bag to check

M4 -07 x 28mm is the correct screws you will be looking for, M4 is the diameter, 0.7 is the thread pitch and 28mm is the length.  As for where to get them as others have said look for a local hardware store or places that specialize in this like fastenal.

Even the performance PC lists length at 25mm so I'm not sure if they are 28mm or not x.x

28mm is a not a common length so your either going to have to most likely go 25mm and be a little short or 30mm and file a few mm's off. I'm not certain the absolute requirements if it's just a little short but @EK Luc might be able to weigh in on that.

Don't know if the head of the screw will go into the block though.

It's worth a try. It's only a dollar for a pack of 3 so there is no point to not try it.

Sorry i was talking about the HomeDepot screws from before ill try those if the screws from before don't work
