a little overkill for a H270 board  but its fine, has decent reviews

also i would recommend this PSU instead https://pcpartpicker.com/product/nB3RsY/seasonic-power-supply-s12ii620bronze

(also i would recommend ryzen 7 1700 for the same price) with 8 cores and 16 thread AND room for overclocking later

What are you using the system for?  Ryzen might be a better option.

Gaming mostly

Then you should definitely consider a Ryzen 1700.  It offers slightly lower gaming performance, but content creation really benefits from it.

Probably the i7, but I don't know how much video editing you do.  It's up to you.  Here is a video game benchmark video with fast RAM (something Ryzen needs to perform well).

When it comes to video editing, Ryzen 7 is about on par with the i7-6900K, which is a $1000 CPU.
