What's the current smallest mATX case that can be carryon luggage?

Title is love, title is life.

 

Only requirements are a) fit an mATX motherboard to support SLI b) have 2 expansion slots for 2 single slot GPUs.  Cooling doesn't matter.  SFX psu is fine.

 

Seems like all the easily found ones are basically a tower form factor that doesn't really make it compact.

you can get mitx cases that would fit. just look around

Keep in mind of two things:

• Carry on dimension limits is typically 9 x 14 x 22 inches or 22 x 35 x56 cm including any handles or wheels.
• Maximum weight per carry on is typically 22 lbs or 10 kg.

So if you don't mind having a naked computer, you could get something like a harness for it that'll make it carryable. However, I've found most mATX cases exceed one of those dimensions.

Since I mainly fly Southwest their restrictions are:

 

• Maximum dimensions: 62 inches or 157 centimeters (length + width + height)
• Maximum weight: 50 pounds or 23 kilograms

So far it seems the Thermaltake Core G3 is the "best" option (http://www.thermaltake.com/products-model_Specification.aspx?id=C_00002936) but it's a full ATX size mobo form factor which seems kinda wasteful since the thing only has 2 expansion slots.

That's the dimensions for a checked-in bag. Carry-on is what you bring with you to the plane.

I woudn't do that as some dump TSA agent will mess you up.Just make sure it can boot and you should be fine

Tha's really short.But I would look into HTPC cases.But woudn't mitx be a better soloution

mITX has no SLI support, both lack of slots and lack of SLI certification.

 

It may end up being the solution, but I want SLI for a little bit of the wow factor (gotta impress those lan party ho's yo!) and have the ability to play 1440 high details.  Don't think even the Titan Xp is  at that level yet.

Ive looked into this before, word of advice. Pack some expanding foam, or some other protector to secure your gpu. Things get a bit bumpy, and pci brackets can rip.
